Of course, just as I get 2.0.2 installed, the database moved over, and the database imported, I get an e-mail today from Invision - they've released 2.0.3! So what I'm going to do is get this SQL error fixed and then upgrade the boards to 2.0.3 (especially since one of the features of 2.0.3 is SQL optimizations which speed up large boards). So...I might open up the old boards for chatting though NO POSTS will be transferred over - or I might just leave everything closed until I can get this upgrade complete. I don't have much time tomorrow after work to work on it (though I do have some time) but I do have plenty of time on Thursday to work on it.

Blake, I second everyone else's thank you for all you have done and all you have had to put up with. I'm frustrated for you. That said, I'd kill for just an hour on any sd-1 board- the place is like crack and I've not had a hit in weeks.

Thank you Blake for your persistence & hard work! I don't know what SQL errors mean but I'd love to have a glimpse of sd-1 if possible. It's been weeks and I am desperate for access. Hope all goes well with you for the final steps.

We're still using Invision's software - no need to switch from that. We're no longer using Invision's hosting service.

Blake is a god! No buts about it. Thanks for all your unwavered deadication to us sd-1/Alias addicts. I second that those boards are like crack. Not that I would no what crack is like anyway lol. But seriously we couldn't thank you enough for giving us our daily Alias fix until Weds January 5th 2005 at 9pm et time. Is it just me or anyone else find it extreamely funny that you said on Thurs. you will have plenty of time when its uh.... Thanksgiving. Maybe your not American so it doesn't much value lol. Hell, I'm American but if sd-1 goes us I will be leaving my turkey early. Anyways enough of my babble. No one can express how wonderful a person you are for running sd-1. Never knew what we had till its gone for a while.
ps- Anyway seen Alias promo commerical on ABC? Its freaking brillant. Oh and dying for a SNAFU update LOL. Obsessed? Uh YEA!

Blake, you are a god. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do. I miss SD and all the people I've met there incredibly and can't wait for it to be back up. Don't rush, though. Take your time so it's done right. Happy Thanksgiving, and hopefully I'll see everyone soon.

As much as I miss my Home and talking to all my friends, I'd rather wait until we can be up in the brand new boards. Missing/eaten posts are confusing, especially when they're in the middle of conversations. :)

I swear, Blake, you amaze me. Thank you so much for spending all of your free time working so hard on this. You really are dedicated to us poor saps that depend on the board for our weekly/daily/hourly fixes. You said you'll have plenty of time on Thursday--I hope that doesn't mean you're sacrificing Thanksgiving/family time for us! Family comes first, and we members will still come back, so don't worry about us *too* much. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and we hope to see you again soon!
