Not much to report right now. I'm really sick and not really feeling like doing anything - but I tried. Invision found my database on another server, however, I don't have access to that database right now, so I have to wait for them to grant me access before I can download it, gzip it and then upload it to the new server. That whole process takes about 8 hours, so when they get back to me I can work on it again. I will check my e-mail once more before I go to bed really early tonight to see if I can get access to the database and back it up and start the upload before I head to bed.

Oh man - so sorry to hear you're sick, Blake! :( No fun being sick anytime, but especially bad over a holiday. You certainly don't need that on top of all the board problems anyway.
Hope you're feeling better soon - get lots of rest while you can!

i hope you feel better soon! remember, your health is more important than anything else, okay? we've done w/o SD for a month...we can get by for another week or so.

but, should you need it my weapons for inflicting bodily harm upon whoever came up with this whole "server" business are at your disposal.

I'm sorry to hear you're sick, (I told you to take care of yourself yesterday !! lol) Anyway, go to bed right now and don't argue ! One day more or less will not change anything for us, but YOU NEED to rest, don't spend the whole day aiting for an email in front of your computer, right ?

I didn't know the computer can really give you virus... what Virus Invision gave you??... hehehe... just stay away from the computer and Invision until you get better... then you can give them the virus back!!!!

Oh no, Blake, please please take good care of yourself...it makes me feel so guilty that you're still trying your best to get SD-1 up again even though you're sick. You're the best, and everyone appreciates all the things you've done and your frequent updates. =)
I'm still waiting anxiously for SD-1 to come back, and grrr...if i ever get my hands on the people at Invision...*dire warning alert* I'm missing the boards, the posts, and the stories so much...and most of all, the interaction with my readers and other writers...i really hope they're still around, just dormant somewhere. =P
And just like most other people, *grin* had not much of a choice but to dig up my lost social life and reinstate it again these past weeks. But i'd very willingly be addicted to SD-1 again, as soon as its up and running. =)
Once again, take care and get lots of rest and fluids!
Here's to a speedy recovery for both you and SD-1. =)

Hang in there Blake! Take your time and make sure that everything's in it's proper place because I'm sure when Sd-1 comes back, many people will be online (at the same time) and there's a lot of things to say. How many weeks or is it months already the board's offline?
I hope things will be back before the season starts (much better if it's before Christmas). Thanks for your time and for being patient. We'll always be here.
