Well...here we are. SD-3 is now back up and functioning to follow the status of the sites of SD-1.net and SD-6.com. As you probably know, SD-1.net has been down since last Saturday and, unfortunately, right now, there is no quick fix in sight. Invision has been dragging their feet and with my job and classes, I have no time to devote to fixing SD-1.net fully.
So basically, I have support tickets in with Invision and they are "working" on it, but nothing's been done since last Saturday really. Lots of talk and no action. The only time I have a chance to get everything fixed on my own is Friday night after I get off work. I will get the database imported and I will try and upgrade the boards to the latest version which should produce some speed enhancements.
I am terribly sorry for the week we've been offline. Hopefully we'll be back soon. Comments here are turned on - feel free to leave whatever comments you like.

Blake--Thanks for all of your time and effort and for keeping us updated. Yes, I am experiencing SD-1 withdrawal (and with CoverMe down too...I'm feeling like Charlie on tonight's ep of Lost!), but I do understand the "real life" aspect. (What? You have a life? You mean, besides Alias and SD-1??!! Traitor!) As long as SD-1 comes back sometime (and doesn't disappear into indefinite hiatus), I can deal with the wait. Thanks again. I'm feeling kinda lost what with the lack of places to get my Alias fix. I generally rely on SD-1, and since it's been down I've been going a little crazy. I'm glad you're doing so much to get everything working again, and I know it must be crazy-hard to run this as well as work and everything, so I just wanted to thank you for all the work that has gone into bringing the SD network back. I can't wait for everything to be back online. M.

I know it's been said, but thank you so much for all the hard work you do to keep us up and running Blake. It has been hard to be without SD-1 for so long, but it does make a person appreciate it even more. You do a great job with that board, and I understand you having a job and a real life. Yet you still find time to try and fix things as quickly as possible. It means I lot to me, and I know that all my fellow HOMIES love you for it as well. What would we do without you? First I'm sad to see that SD-1 is longer down than in the past... :o( and seeing you struggle to fix that problem even more...but I'm more than thankful for you to do all of this! Let's just say that in the mean time I've been sick... and now I have time to catch up on my own writing *whistle*...it has it's adventages and disadventages... ;o) But I miss my friends there and I am really looking forward for it to be up as soon as you can..

Just really supporting what everyone else has said: sorry you've had such problems with the site, and hope everything goes well very shortly. I'm missing my fic "fix" like crazy, so thought I'd try getting at some other ones via various fic award sites, but guess what?: most of the nominees are SD-1 people, which goes to say something about the quality of work on the boards :-).
Oh well, waiting with bated breath for ... whenever. Thank heavens it's the "closed" season, at least, rather than season finale time!

You are amazing! Work class and all of us. It's like hundreds of kids asking "what's for dinner" "what's for dinner" 2 million times a day.
We will all still be here when the boards are back up and have lots of time to be on SD 1 as we will have all gotten so much work done without the lure of SD1!

I know it's been said countless times, and if I was feeling better last night before I decided to go to bed.. I'd have posted before now and mine wouldn't seem so repetitive. :-P Anyway, I wanted to just say thanks for the awesome updates, I find myself looking forward for another one each day. If I were to say everything it would just be a repeat of the comments above, so I just wanted to say thanks for all of your hard work. We all have life outside of SD-1 (well, most of us :blush:), but in the meantime AllAlias is filling that void (and being oh so nice to us SD-1 Refugees). No worries, we haven't crashed AllAlias. . . . yet.

Blake- Thank-you so much for your time and effort on the Sd-1 boards...I used to run a website, and after two years of dealing with the frustrations I'm sure you're experiencing right now, I had to throw in the towel. Bless your heart for your perseverance. Times like these you find yourself really wishing Marshal Flinkman was a real guy, huh? He'd be able to fix these boards pronto...and Sark would come in handy to threaten the people at Invision to hurry their efforts along.
